Pave Diamond Engagement Ring – Trendy Yet Sophisticated?

Split Edge Pave Engagement Ring

This has been a great search to find this particular pave ring.  I find it to be particularly striking.  While this diamond engagement ring gives an aire of sophistication and high brow it also dances with the trendy up and comers.

Subtly coated in pave diamond along the ring and split edge portion, this split edge diamond ring setting, also has 9 pave diamond on both sides of the crown.

On this articular ring the diamond I have selected is a round brilliant diamond with 1.20 carats, g color and vs1 clarity.  To put it in layman’s terms it would categorize in the medium range to medium high range as far as the grading characteristics go.

What does this mean to you?  Good enough diamond clarity, color and cut that can be proudly flaunted without paying the big price tag.

I felt it was important for everyone to see that it is not imperative for you to dive into purchasing a diamond ring with top notch credentials. And that it IS perfectly safe and acceptable to buy diamond engagement ring at a lower price point while still achieving great sparkle, brilliance, and fire power.

Not only that but I was able to keep the price below the $10,000 mark for the diamond and the engagement ring setting together!  (click here for more details…)

As usual, I invite you to comment with your opinions – likes and dislikes.

Peter Lam Pave Diamond Ring

Peter Lam Limited Edition Pave Diamond Ring – Only 50 Pieces Worldwide!

Designer Collection

MSRP: $9329.00; Sale Price: $2799.00

Today’s feature diamond ring is from the “Designer Collection” at Ultra Diamonds. This fine pave diamond ring is a little out of the ordinary of what I have been reviewing.

I supposed that you could use it as an diamond engagement ring (and you certainly would be unique, and not at all in a silly way) but I see this one more as an anniversary or Valentine’s Day gift.

However you choose to gift it, this diamond pave ring is very special because it is one of ONLY 50 pieces produced worldwide. Inspired by the art deco period,  each piece is engraved with a serial number, Peter Lam’s signature and a certificate of authenticity.

Designed by Peter Lam it is a unique piece with 1 carats in diamonds where the main diamond is extravagantly framed by pave diamonds.  This gives the illusion of sparkle shine and brilliance.

MSRP: $3199.00; Sale $2134.00

MSRP: $3199,00; Sale: $2134.00

The diamond and pave diamonds are laid on 18k White Gold and Yellow Gold.  In case you like the pave diamond ring and would like accessorize with matching pave earrings, pave necklace or pave bracelet then this is your lucky day because they have also secured a few of these.

Definitely an eye catcher at any occasion regardless if the occasion is a Presidential Ball, the Golden Globes, a wedding, or a romantic night out.  She will be certainly be turning other womens heads with envy.

Feel free to comment or give feedback on this or any other review that we have posted.

Emerald Cut Diamond Ring

Emerald Cut Diamond Ring on a Platinum Setting with Diamond Baguette Accents

When I think of a romantic classical ring setting and diamond I think of Emerald cut diamond set amongst baguette diamonds to accent the shape of the Emerald cut diamond.  Today’s diamond engagement ring that I have selected came from Mondera.com.

When you choose an emerald for an engagement ring you want to try to keep the clarity and color as high a grade as you can.  This is because there are less cuts when compared to a round brilliant or asscher. Since you have less sparkle to hide imperfections your emerald cut diamond needs to be clear and inclusion free as possible.

This emerald diamond is 1.52 Ct with VS1 clarity and E color grade.  So we have at least satisfied the the two most important characteristics.  Since I found a wonderful diamond that happened to have high grades in the other C’s I had to snap it up!  (This is just an example so I didn’t actually buy it so you can still purchase this emerald cut diamond or the entire emerald cut ring).

With a “Very Good” Cut grade the emerald cut diamond for  $8.759.00 it’s also a good price.

To frame the center emerald diamond I chose a setting with baguette diamond accents with similar shapes to continue with the theme.  Had I chosen a larger diamond in the 4 – 5 ct. range in an emerald cut I may have let the diamond shine on its own with out any accents.

Having gotten such a good price for the diamond I felt that I could splurge a little and go for a platinum setting with baguette diamonds. The Platinum holds its color longer  than white gold so you never have to worry about re-plating the setting.  It also help to bring together the whiteness of the emerald diamond and diamond baguettes.  The price for the setting is $2,800.00.

This marriage brings together a spectacular diamond emerald cut engagement ring.   The total price to purchase this particular emerald cut engagement ring is $11379.00.

Everlon Diamond Knot Ring

Give an “Everlon Diamond Knot Ring” for Any Occasion.

You may be familiar with this ring from the Everlon Commercial. If you haven’t heard of the Everlon Diamond Knot Ring I am here to enlighten you.  This is a unique ring that can can be given as a promise ring, birthday, anniversary or Valentine’s Day gift.

Everlon has made it easy for any female to wear one of their pieces.  By adding more diamonds or a larger centerpiece diamond it opens the door for a more mature woman and not just younger women.

Today’s example is being pulled from Zales as they are one of the most popular retailers for the Everlon Diamond Knot Collection.  They offer Everlon rings as well as the Everlon Diamond Knot Bracelets, pendants,  and earrings.

The ring that I have chosen to review is a very accessible piece of jewelery even in this economy.  While it is offered in yellow gold as well as silver, our ring is the 14Kwhite gold variety with a 1/6 carat diamond nestled in the knot.   It is a very romantic setting where two loops lock to hug a diamond into place.

The price for this ring in white gold is $399.99 and comes with free packaging in a matte black box, silver ribbon and personal message.  Pieces with more diamonds or larger diamonds can range up to $2499.99 for a glamorous  1 carat diamond ring laced in diamonds.

While we have chosen to review  a 1/6 ct. diamond it is offered in higher carat weights with pavé accents lined along the knot.  You will also see similar pieces in the earrings and pendants.
